About the Association

APPM - Assotsiatsiya ProizvoditeleyPosadochnogo Materiala - the Russian Nursery Stock Association is a non-commercial organization founded in 2008 on the initiative of private nursery owners. APPM is developing thanks to vigorous activity of its participants, wise management of APPM Board members and accurately planned work of APPM Directorate.

The key APPM task is a development of the civilized market of landing material, improvement of quality of the production made by nurseries and shares of domestic manufacturer in the market. To achieve these goal is possible through coordination of APPM members’ efforts and mutual support of the announced initiatives.

At present the Association unites 217 members: 152 nurseries from 40 regions of the Russian Federation and nurseries from Belarus (3), Kazakhstan (3), Uzbekistan (1) and 58 nursery partners - namely the organizations connected with nursery market but not nurseries themselves (garden centers, suppliers of materials and equipment for nurseries, suppliers of the specialized equipment, agrochemical production, suppliers of seeds ets, profile educational and scientific institutions).

The total area occupied by АППМ nurseries is more than 12 000 hectares.

Today APPM is the most mass organization representing the interests of the Russian nurserymen. Creation of this organization and its successful development is the result of efforts of exclusively participants of the Green market - APPM members.

Tasks of the Association:

• Development of the Russian planting stock market
• Information exchange between nurseries
• Promotion of industry standards on planting stock material
• Edition of catalogues of plants (perennials; woody plants (trees & shrubs); fruit plants)
• Sharing the experience and implementation of up-to-date technologies
• Defending the interests of planting stock manufacturers at state authorities
• Arranging trips to Russian and foreign nurseries to provide experience exchange
• International cooperation

What can become guarantee of successful Association activities?

It's activity, vigorous activity of all and everyone. An association, as undertaking organization, will develop only when each of its member spends at least a little of the personal time for a common cause.

We invite Russian nurserymen to enter the Russian Nursery Stock Association and to make decision in the solution of the general tasks.
